About Us

Since moving from Mexico to Canada in 2010 with our two young children, we noticed a special fondness that Canadians have towards all things Mexican. We also noticed that many Canadians have only been able to see the more touristy art sold in all-inclusive resorts in the Mayan Riviera. Knowing the amazing folk art that is created in different regions of Mexico, we had this dream of connecting these lesser known but extremely talented artisans with our Canadian friends. In 2016, we began our journey in the State of Oaxaca. We met many talented artisans, most of whom work in their family workshops, just like their parents and grandparents before them. Dealing directly with the artisans has been an extremely enriching experience. Our mission is to bring you the best Mexican folk art, hand-picked by us, while at the same time following fair trade practices and supporting the artisans and their work.

Thank you for being a part of this journey.
